Frequent underground metro services connect the airport with
Madrid city centre. Atocha Railway Station and Mendez Alvaro
metro station are only 800 metres away. Taxis are available from
the airport. The blue airport bus departs every 15 minutes for
the underground bus terminal at Plaza de Colon in central Madrid.
Madrid's extensive public bus and metro systems provide an
efficient and cheap way of getting around the city. Taxis are
moderately priced and can be hailed in the street.
Driving directions: From the airport look take the M-39 highway
to the South (Sur). Once you pass the Valencia Exit (N-III) take
the right side of the highway and get off at the Mendez Alvaro
exit (Number 11). Take the main street and pass the coach station
on the right. The hotel is 800 metres on the left.
